About Margo

Hello! I grew up in Nanjing, China, the best city in my mind that has a great history, good food, and lots of young people. I stayed until I finished high school and decided to study abroad in the US for college. I earned my undergrad degree at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and graduated last year. Now, I am on my path to becoming a "dogtor" -- I am studying Veterinary Medicine at the Ohio State University. Similar to M.D., D.V.M. is a 4-year program.

I LOVE meeting new people and starting random conversations with them. Obviously, I love animals. In my free time, I enjoy reading and playing sports with friends.

About the lesson

I am easily approachable and a good listener. I treat my students as friends. I want them to learn the most out of the lessons, but, most importantly, to have fun and enjoy the process! Together, we can figure out a learning plan that fits your goals.

I have Chinese tutoring experience with both elementary kids and adults and have developed specific techniques with different age groups. Being a native Chinese speaker who has been keen on reading, I am confident to teach you anything in Chinese, not limited to speaking, writing, or grammar; anything ranging from introduction level to advanced.

While attending Emory University with Margo, I saw her dedication to academics and helping others. Margo has much experience teaching Chinese and various subjects. Not only can Margo tutor one-on-one, but she is able to teach multiple children at a time and keep them engaged. Margo is great at communicating with her students' parents. Margo creates a friendly and welcoming environment which is one of the reasons why she is a great tutor. Margo furthered her education by attending one of the top veterinarian schools after our time together at Emory. She has a very impressive academic background. Margo's native language is Mandarin and she is fluent in English (with a superb vocabulary level). Not only is Margo a great academic tutor, but she is also a fantastic person which makes it very easy to converse and interact with her. As an experienced tutor myself, I highly endorse Margo.
