About Nicholas
I am a senior software developer at one of the largest auto insurance providers in the United States. I have years of experience writing code that is used by millions of people. With me, you not only get my academic experience, but you get my professional experience as well.
I love when other developers are able to work with me and produce work that is up to par with the expectations of a Fortune 500 company. It is incredibly satisfying to see someone go from being new to a concept to being confident in their skills. I firmly believe that their success is my success and do whatever I can to help them reach their potential.
I have a tendency to learn and master new skills that other developers at work don't want to. Because of this, I became the go-to person when other developers need training in the skills I have.
I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems.
I am currently employed as a senior software developer at one of the largest auto insurance providers in the United States. If you have ever done an auto insurance quote online or through an agency, you have probably interacted with my work. At work, I support new developers in the onboarding process to make sure that they have the skills necessary to succeed in our environment.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to the world of computer science, and so it follows that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching it. I pride myself on being flexible and adapting to the student's wants and needs.
I primarily teach at my place of employment. I have taught new college graduates as well as some of our most senior developers and technical leadership.
