About Amanda
With over 50 years of combined professionally competative and teaching experience, Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Canton helps everyone of all ages and abilities to learn to dance! Whether you want to learn specific latin dances for your upcoming vacation or to learn how to dance at a wedding or special event - we offer it all! No partner or previous experience is ever necessary.
All of our instructors are Fred Astaire Dance Board certified in the material they teach. Canton, in particular, is the home to three honors-level certified instructors and actively professional competitiors - therefore, the material and instruction you recieve at Canton Fred Astaire is the best of the best.

Most new students will begin with our new student Introductory Special of two 30-minute private lessons for $50.00. Here, you will be introduced to the studio, our conceptual methods of teaching, Trophy System, as well as our six most popular dances - Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot!
If there are special styles you wish to learn, let your instructor know so you can try those on your intro lessons, as well!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
We recommend that students come with an open mind and willingness to try! Learning to dance can be hard, but it's not as hard as everyone thinks. ;)
