About Edgar
I'm the cofounder of Auh2oSound and head mixing sound engineer for the studio. I work with a variety artist in creating their perfect sound.
What makes my job so cool is that their are so much you learn with every raw recording. The mixing process showcases your unique knowledge and expertise of the various DAW, plug-ins, VSTs, and so much more.
I will take you through the steps, equipment, process and tricks of the trade so you can create the ideal sound for your clients. I'm a patient and passionate instructor and truly enjoy working one on one giving you my full attention.
you will have the opportunity to be with me either in person or virtually in the studio working with real artist. I will take you through different scenarios and styles of music and how to get the sound needed.
I work on an hourly basis taking into consideration where you are in your journey. Each curriculum is based on the individual's experience and goals.
This industry is being able to make people happy by giving them the results their looking for and making new friends. Every aspect of my job is fun and provides the opportunity to grow and continue to learn.
Having been a musician since I was 12 I play 5 different instruments and have preformed at LAs top live music venues. This has provided me with a true understanding of music and music theory. With this knowledge, I feel I have a clear understanding of notes and sound.
I love sharing and learning about the new equipment, virtual plug-ins, DAWs and more with students. This industry is ever changing with new and improved ways of recording. This is what makes it so fun!

About the lesson

I work on an individual bases based on how much experience and knowledge a student has. Once we have had our first meeting either in person or virtually, together we will work out what your goals and expectations are as well as the time you have for learning mixing and engineering.
I encourage students to take at least a course of 4 two hour classes once a week if not more. Depending on the amount of knowledge they are looking to obtain and what best meets their timeline, I base each person on their best learning practices.
