About Kailyn
I bring over three years of dedicated experience in tutoring English, catering to students ranging from five-year-olds to middle schoolers. My passion lies in facilitating targeted improvement in my students' desired areas while fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment. Beyond tutoring, I have excelled as a Speech and Debate Coach and contributed to various publications, honing advanced English proficiency, communication, and mentorship skills. Notably, I recently served as a Journalism Teaching Assistant at the esteemed University of Southern California. I hold a first-class degree in History of Art from the University of Manchester, graduating in 2024.
I began tutoring to cover my university costs, but I find that it is very rewarding to help people discover how wonderful English can be.
I was recruited by the University of Southern California (USC) to mentor high school students within a journalism program. My role involved extensive experience in designing lesson plans and guiding individuals to enhance their skills in reading, writing, research, and communication.

My daughter needed some help with her English class and right away Kailyn had a plan to improve her reading and writing skills. She’s always quick to update me on how the lessons are progressing and now my daughter asks when she will see Ms. Kailyn again!
