About Chris
My background is in ESL Education earning a degree from Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea. I lived in Korea for 15 years teaching students of all ages mostly Language Arts which included grammar, reading comprehension, phonics, writing, speaking, math, history, and school and job interview skills.
After coming back to the States in 2015, I secured a job at a charter school in Newcastle, Ca where I now teach intervention and tutur kids after school in Language Arts and Math. In the last 2 years, I have been teaching Barton's Reading system.
I graduated from university and wanted to teach abroad to continue my love for travel.
I have been working as a teacher and private tutor for 19 years. I have TESOL and TEFL certificates in ESL education and since being back in California, I have 4 years of training in math, Language Arts, and behavior.

I have worked with students aged 5 to 70.
Ask how long they have been teaching. Also, a students should be able to work with a teacher to develop a curriculum that will best benefit the student.
