About Margaret
I am kind, energetic, passionate about reading, writing, good books, and great conversation. I am patient, yet I will challenge my students to reach their potential.
I love working with students; I love seeing students love reading and finding confidence in their own claims.
I loved school, and I had always worked with students during the summer and after school for extra pay. I am the oldest in a large family, and I knew I wanted to teach when I grew up. I love being able to share and discuss good books with students.
I am a full-time middle school teacher, and I have taught for the past three years. I have tutored Spanish and English for the past seven years, and I also serve as a basketball and soccer coach. I have my Master's in Education, and I am fluent in Spanish.

I will get to know the students and parents before we begin officially, so we are all able to get to know each other and feel comfortable. I like to do some reading and writing practice to see where I will begin with my student.
I have worked with a wide range of students; students who speak Spanish as a first language, students with different learning skills and abilities, and students from a range of backgrounds and family lives.
