About Sophie
I have been teaching middle and high school English for 3 years.
Ma teaching license in English and special education.
MED Boston University
I currently work as a sixth-grade ELA teacher but have experience in high school and elementary school. I possess a master's in education and am certified in 6-12 English instruction, and special education.
I also possess certifications in Early grade Reading instruction and k-10 writing instruction.
I have experience teaching elementary, middle, and highschool education in ELA, History, and Math.

My process involves first evaluating the scholar's skills in the subject that they choose instruction in. This evaluation includes delving into the scholar's interests, content confidence, and learning preferences. I prioritize getting to know a scholar in order to best serve their educational needs.
I then design an individualized study plan based on preparing the scholar for the common core of their net grade level. Specifically addressing any skills that they have yet to master for the next year.
