About Minden
I have been working as a writing tutor for almost sixteen years.
While writing is my specialty, I have my master's degree in criminal psychology and a bachelor's in film and television production. I use my knowledge gained from those experiences to assist others in finding success in their experiences.
I am passionate about guiding students in finding their own understanding and love for the written word.
I have my master's in criminal psychology. I am presently working on my Ph.D. I have my bachelor's in film and television production with focuses in directing and screenwriting. I have worked as a writing tutor and a freelance writer for over sixteen years.

The first few minutes of working with a new student involves learning about that student outside of an educational context. I inquire about their likes and dislikes, what they want to be when they grow up, their passions, and their families. They can also use this opportunity to ask me any similar questions.
This is followed by learning about them within an educational context, such as favorite and least favorite subjects, extracurricular activities, and qualities of their favorite teachers.
Then, we dive into what they are hoping to achieve with that current tutoring session.

Standard pricing is $16 an hour for regular subjects and $20 an hour for Honors and Advanced Placement subjects.
