About Mindy
I find a little humor goes a long way. And, I try to fit lessons to students individual tastes.
I enjoy meeting new people and helping them improve their skills. It's a win-win.
I began my teaching career, teaching ESL in Tokyo, Japan. I loved my seven years, there, meeting students of all ages and walks of life. My youngest student was three, my oldest ninety- three. I taught people from Japan, China, Thailand and Korea.
I have twenty years of hands on experience, teaching skills and explaining things to people of all ages and walks of life. I also have a Masters in Humanities, from Cal State Dominguez Hilld and a BA in Theater Arts, from UCLA.

I like to find out a students' interests, so I can incorporate them into lessons, when possible. Also, the more comfortable a student feels, the more they can learn.
I have taught children, university students, business professionals, teachers, housewives, medical professionals and myself.
Hire someone you like, then be willing to do half of the work. They can lead but you must do.
My dog and I recently had a good long walk after an especially beautiful sunset. She saw cows for the first time and was fascinated. We all like to learn new things.
