About Maya
My name is Maya Pilgram and I am certified tutor at the FIU Student Academic Athlete Center! I have a passion for helping students learn and advance their skills. I am gifted in AP English Lanuage, IB English, history courses as well as English at the college level. I am flexible and open! I cannot wait to help you overcome your academic difficulties!
I love inspiring people of all ages to believe in themselves and reach their full potential in all things. It truly brings me happiness to help others and empower them to be their very best selves.
I was at a study group in high school and someone mentioned that I am very good at explaining concepts. From there, I decided to pursue tutoring.
I am at senior at FIU in political science and I have worked as tutor for the student athletes for about a year now! In addition, I tutored students in high school in various AP/IB subjects.
