About Amanda
Hi I am Amanda! I have recently graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelors degree in Communication Studies. During my time at UCLA I worked as a teachers assistant for the Communications Department where I helped professors grade papers, develop new assignments, and provide advice to students and teachers during office hours. I have also have previous experience tutoring grade school children in all subjects. In my free time I love to read, getting to experience new subjects and stories is always exciting. I would love to get to know you and help you create and understand your class materials in a way that is not just getting the assignment done, but makes a lasting impression for yourself as well.
I currently have a bachelors degree in Communication Studies from University of California, Los Angeles and I have had paid expereince as a grade school tutor and as an undergraduate teacher's assistant.

Typically, I would like to start by getting to know the student and then going over what the class or specific assignment is about. Getting to know the student better first I find is key, so that way we can work together to understand how they think and process information and then create a plan of action that is personalized to them. It is important when working with multiple students to remember that they are unique and their learning process will be unique as well.
I haved worked with grade school and college age students. However I am open to students of all ages!
