About Cody
Teachers helped me through my disadvantaged childhood so I hope to offer guidance to students in need to help them succeed and hopefully go to college.
I have a BA in Psychology, an MA in Education, 3 years experience as an English teacher, and a GATE certification.

Typically I look to get to know the student and understand their preferred learning styles. It is difficult for a stduent to learn from a teacher they do not trust or a teacher who does not understand them.
I work with students of all skill levels, races, beliefs, backgrounds, langauges, and learning styles.
Be sure that the tutor/teacher you hire is a good fit for you. Teaching experience and qualifications are important, but a strong rapport and connection will lead to better understanding and collaboration.
I recently worked with some of my former football players to help them be successful in their college classes as they were struggling to manage the workload and uderstand the content. My students can always contatct me for help!
