About Hannah
Hello! I am a certificated middle school English teacher with years of teaching, tutoring and mentoring experience! I love helping all ages work to improve their skills, as well as encourage a love for literature. Let me be there to help your student find success in English!
I knew I wanted to be a teacher from a young age. My dad is a teacher and in fact was my teacher for both first and sixth grade. I have always found myself in an educational environment, be that tutoring, running after school programs, substitute teaching, and eventually having my own classroom.
I have both a multiple subject teaching credential as well as a single subject certification in English. In college, I majored in English literature and linguistics. I have worked at both elementary school sites as well as middle school, and I have tutored students from preschool through college.

When working with a new student, I first like to go over goals- whether goals are related to improving grades, getting a handle on classwork, homework, or just overall looking to improve in the subject. We then come up with an identifiable action plan, and work closely to ensure our goals are met.
