I am primarily interested in getting to know the students before I am able to work with them. What kinds of interests do they have? What kind of acedemic persuits make them excited? What is particularly difficult about a specific subject? Once I have a sense of a student, I work from there to divise a plan for how to better their skills.
I have worked with students of all different ages – from middle school to adult men.
