About Nicole
As a current Stanford University student, I understand the level of dedication and committment required to excel in school. I want to help other students master material and increase their confidence in school work and beyond. I have been tutoring students since I was in middle school, and enjoy making learning a fun and encouraging aspect of life. I graduated high school with an IB Diploma and have thorough experitise in SAT Reading and Writing & Language preparation, as well as planning for college application essays. I grew up in Europe and speak several languanges, so I have thorough experience working with second-language learners. I look forward to the opportunity of working with your student.
I love helping students achieve their learning goals and getting to know their individual learning styles. We can all learn something from one another.
As a current undergraduate student at Stanford University, I have thorough understanding of the high level of reading and writing required to excell both academically and professionally. I have experience in the IB program and SAT preparation as well.

I think that the most significant part of tutoring is adapting teaching styles based on individual student needs. Typically, I like to hear the parent/student concerns and what their goals are for tutoring. From there, I like to plan out the steps we will take to accomplish these goals and get a better understanding of their current level of knowledge in their given area of focus.
I have worked with students of all English proficiency levels as well as students with learning disabilities. I enjoy getting to know my students and developing a plan to help them succeed.
I recently visited Disneyland and love all the rides there. Although I was terrified of the rollercoasters at first!
