About Alexandria
As a tutor, I'm most passionate about helping my students tap into their imaginations - to see their creativity grow and evolve as they use writing to build worlds, characters, creatures, and more!
My greatest hope is that at the end of each lesson, my student is inspired. An inspired mind is an engaged mind, and from there, anything is possible!

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts and my Master of Fine Arts in Media Arts and Animation. Creative work is my forte - be it written or drawn/digital form! And my greatest goal in life is to spark inspiration in others. If even one student can find that through learning from me, and go on to inspire others, then my job as a teacher is complete.

Typically I like to start with some "icebreaker" exercises. Whether this comes in the form of a series of drawings to show me the student's interests/likes, or even a short written story, will vary based on the subject I'm teaching.
From there, assignments and lessons will gradually become more complex - each catered to the student's progress and learning capacity.
I've taught a variety of ages, from 7 years to 22 years. My style of teaching tends to lend itself better to young adults and teenaged students, but I am adaptable and flexible enough to construct lesson plans geared towards younger students.
