About Majora
I'm especially excited when you feel like you are learning and improving. Learning is all about having fun! I don't just drill skills, but I like to provide activities and games for retention.
I tutor a seond-grader from Vietnam. We learn from each other. It brings me joy that he looks forward to me coming. He never knows what I will bring or what game/activity we will do.
I have a BA in English and I have worked as an English Teacher. For the past decade, I have tutored school-aged children.

My typical process for working with a new student is to assess strenghs and weeknesses. I will ask the student a few questions and go from there.
I have worked with students who had an IEP and students who were below reading level.
