About Benjamin
I have a background in orchestral and chamber composition in addition to studying the guitar. I believe having such a background in classical composition can aid me in explaining concepts holistically rather than explaining parts as if they are entirely independent of a great context. Additionally, from that, I know a decently above average amount of theory.
I am almost done finishing my bachelor's degree in music composition at Temple University's Boyer College of Music. Additionally, I am in the school's Honors program where I have access to grant opportunities and am able to do advanced versions of my general education classes. Furthermore, I am heavily involved in my school's student composers' organization, ConTemplum, serving as the treasurer.

I enjoy taking lessons with Ben. He has a very profession attitude, and also explains things in a way I can understand. Now I can play a lot of the songs I like with just a few chords. Recommend to any beginner
He taught me a lot about orchestral writing. As an instrumentalist primarily, I can also appreciate his knowledge in instrumentation and the limitations/strengths of different instruments.
At first I was a complete beginner and didn’t know much about guitars. After starting lessons with Ben my skills have skyrocketed. I carry my guitar wherever I go to perform in public or with friends.
