About Vaughn
Hi! My name is Vaughn and I've been teaching for about 5 years, both young and old. I worked at guadalupe community center giving guitar lessons to 5-10 year olds and tutoring at Pierce Community College on music theory fundamentals, guitar classes, harmony and composition, etc. I have made multiple and varying styles of compositions including cinematic, rock, jazz, funk, folk, and classical. I was a tutor for my advanced guitar instructor and most students needed additional help, so i started private lessons with them.
I studied in many educational classes such as Harmony levels I-III, Musicianship I-III, Recording Arts, etc. Along with book knowledge I have many years of personal experience as well as private instruction in guitar lessons.

I first find out his/her motivation, develop goals (long and short term) with the student, then base future lessons to achieve said goals.
I have worked with students of all ages (6+ years), in group and private setting.
Be prepared to practice. Playing instruments may come easy to some, but in order to progress and achieve your goals you must always practice.
I am lucky to create music, but to also teach is a great feeling. To see the faces of students when they accomplish something they worked hard at is priceless.
