About Joe

Joe Corley Karate and Atlanta Extreme Warrior have been named best in Atlanta by Atlanta magazine.

Master instructor Joe Corley is a 10th degree black belt, is in the black belt Hall of Fame and they world tae kwon do Hall of Fame.

Our courses include:

* American karate and tae kwon do for kids from ages 3 and up

* Krav Maga / Israeli Self Defense for kids, teens and adults

* kickboxing for teens and adults

Having received my 10th Degree black belt in June 2016, what makes me most happy is to see the growth in confidence, competence and fitness among all of our students from the youngest at age 3 to the older students we currently have at age 75.

How are master instructor started teaching when he was 19 years old and has been teaching for more than four decades. He started when he was a nationally ranked competitor, rent each month by black belt magazine as one of the top 10 fighters in the country

Our master instructor, Joe Corley, is a 10th degree black belt, and is currently featured in the 2017 Who's Who in the MartialArts, is an inductee into the Black Belt Hall of Fame, the Tae Kwon Do Hall of Fame, was named Official Karate magazine's man of the decade… And so much more. He personally trains all of our instructors.

About the lesson

We work with each new student in a free private lesson, and then we have them try a few free classes, to make sure they are comfortable with our environment, and it gives us a chance to understand their learning styles, so that we can be most helpful to them.

We have trained more than 10,000 students in Atlanta from ages 3 to 70, students who have gone on to win world titles in competition and kid to have grown up to graduate from Yale, Harvard and more.

We recommend that you go into a studio, and watch how the instructor interacts with the students, see how much qualitative feedback they give the students, look for someone who gives good quality feedback, not just a drill instructor. If they have a free trial lesson, take advantage of it and then ask your gut if you feel comfortable that you will learn easily and with a certain level of inspiration in that environment.

We recently hosted the 49th annual Battle of Atlanta world karate championship with competitors coming from all over the world. The BATTLE OF ATLANTA has been carried by ESPN NBC and many other networks.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If you have specific things that you want to accomplish, you can ask the instructor if he can give you some off the top of his head specific examples of people who have achieved what you have in mind, who came from pretty much the same place you come from.
