About Elizabeth
I am currently a personal life coach. I retired from education about 11 years ago. I mainly taught grades K-8 and loved all grades, which is why I moved around almost every year whenever the district needed a teacher. I enjoyed projects that incorporated team building, problem solving and integrating subjects. I read to my kids daily and we always had a silent time to just read our individual choices.
I also had the opportunity to bring some students to Florida to have an immersive learning experience in Disney World where we studied our history at the American Experience, at Epcot where we learned about the technology around the park and at Disney Studios where we learned about the Art of Movie Making. In Sea World we studied ecology. (These trips were optional and students and parents worked together to earn the money to participate.)
I believe ALL children can and will succeed with the right instruction and by developing a good relationship with the kids. I loved every minute of my teaching career and look forward to helping other kids realize they CAN do anything they set their minds to with determination and hard work!
