About Katrina
Working with me while I tutor you is meant to feel supportive, patient, and encouraging. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking your time to understand the work. There is no pressure to already know the answer—we will work through it together.
I will listen to what you need help with and explain things in a way that makes sense to you. If one way of learning does not work, we will try another way. I want to help you with homework, reading, math, GED preparation, or other schoolwork, but I also want to help you feel more confident in yourself.
My goal is for you to leave each tutoring session feeling like you understand more than when you came in and knowing that you have someone who believes in you.
