About Ahmari
My name is Ahmari, I am a 24 year old entrepreneur with a passion for learning in every aspect. I began tutoring independently this year, however I have experience tutoring and leading creative workshops in college. From 2018-2022 I studied at DePaul University, where I received my B.A in Communications and minored in Journalism. There, I honed my expertise in language arts concepts through rigorous rhetorical and critical analysis courses, as well as hands on development through DePaul's extensive opportunities for creative and professional journalistic development. I have been published in my alma mater's beloved journal multiple time, which has a staff advised by former Atlantic and New York Times staff writers; I also had a short yet extremely bright career as a local radio personality.
My love of learning is so deep it even extends to teaching! For my students, I do my best to bring all of these different areas of knowledge to the table when guiding them through course work. I am personable, easy going, but well informed. I truly view creating personalized systems for understanding and skill building as a priority in my course curation and hope to gain knowledge from my students by doing so, because I believe everyone involved in education should be active participants in a learning environment.
