About James
I've been teaching martial arts since 2006. I've taught thousands of people through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Karate. Students enjoy the attention to detail i give and the high energy I bring.
I love helping people make life long healthy decisions . Learning how to protect themselves, building their confidence and overall energy. There's nothing better then seeing someone's life improve through our teamwork.
I absolutely loved the martial arts and practically lives in the dojo until they couldn't not give em a job there lol
I'm a Certified Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Shotokan Karate , I've been training in Judo and Kickboxing since 2005 as well. I've worked for UFC gym , Cko Kickboxing .
I was the owner of Brooklyn BraIlian Jiu-Jitsu from 2008-2018 .

I start all students off with a 1 on 1 phone or video conversation. This way I can find out exactly what you're looking for and what's most important to you.
Next we'll schedule a time that works best for your lesson. The lesson will be a full body workout that will also teach you martial arts training. Your fitness and self defense will be covered.
All students will be added to my free Facebook group where you'll recieve training tips and exercise videos.
I've worked with students 4-82 years of age , mainly begginers and intermediate looking to improve their life through training. I've worked with many all abilities students, some who physically needed modifications . I've worked with students who have Autism , ADHD , anxiety, etc
I recommend you feel comfortable with the instructor when you speak to them. Thay you sense they are an honest trainer with intensions to Improve your life through the training.
I just hosted and taught a women's personal safety seminar that doubled as a charity event for domestic violence shelters.
