In any Martial Arts, you train to develop your technique to become an instructor.
You yourself become a better Martial Artist and really start developing your techniques thru teaching the techniques.
Well, I started training in Martial Arts at 6 years old.
I began my Personal Training by 19 years old (Family Fitness Center, Seattle)
I have traveled the world competing in the kickboxing/Judo/Muay Thai Boxing/Savate Boxe Francaie, honing my education and my skills!

I typically have a get to know session with every new individual.
It’s s like buying a car you want to try me before you buy me!
I have taught men/women/children of all ages.
I teach other black belts and martial artists

2. The teacher/instructor listens to your needs/wants... tries to help you hone your skills.
3. A doer not a talker. “It’s nice to hear the successes of your trainer.. but! To talk more then train, gets you no where in shape!”
One of my attorney students, whom has not trained with me in awhile, recently started back training specifically with me. After his first session back, he said, “Wow, I do remember how you teach, its technical and motivational and you realize what kind of shape you’re really in!”
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Before your first meeting with a potential instructor:
1. Ask him where he will or is willing to train you? ie. at your home. In the park. At his home. In his place of business (brick & mortar) Are you open to any location?
2. Some instructors are very busy... can you be open to schedule changes or are you willing to schedule a whole month in advance?
3. To question 2... Are you flexible?
4. Most important...
“BE REAL WITH YOURSELF!”
You have to want to train and dedicate yourself!
Self-motivation is the key to success!
But remember...
Only in life can you take that first step and reach your goals!!! Be alive! Be adventurous!

When working Rod, there was reason for everything. One move would lead to multiple moves. Most trainers like to yell and have a military style, Rapid fitness is about learning with structure and feeling within. Theres a balance of being a begginer its easy to learn and if your advanced there more purpose to learn.
