About Affan

The unique thing about me is that I myself am a student.

What I have observed is that it's far more fun and easy for students to learn from other students. There is not much of a gap between the students and the tutor. Also, I understand students much better and I relate to them making learning an enjoyable and not such a tedious experience.

Furthermore, I am far more affordable and versatile.

But that is all talk, I would personally check me out with a couple of demo classes and see what you think.

I love learning new things and I also enjoy making my life easier with shortcuts and learning to study smart instead of hard.

I've been teaching students since I was in grade 6 and I've taught students from everywhere, literally. America, Dubai, England, you name it!

I've just wrapped up GCSEs with straight As (Thank God) and I'm also doing my SATs soon. I've also learned in and familiarised myself with multiple syllabuses across different countries so you do not need to worry.

If you need a teacher or a friend to teach your child from grade 5 to grade 11, I'm your guy and I'm bang for your buck. Thank you for reading this incredibly nerdy passage, I promise I'm more fun in person. :)

I am a good student and my teachers would often set me up with a student who needs help. I kept on helping my peers get better grades, get higher scores on their tests, and eventually, I began to think that helping others academically was what I was good at. I then began to teach my younger siblings' classmates and I became pretty popular.

I've aced my GCSEs, I've consistently received Student of the Year throughout the years, I've learned from some of the best teachers in the world. I could go on but I despise bragging.

Well, obviously I need to get to know my student first. There's a void of genuine student-teacher relationships and this has made learning more a job rather than something you would want to do voluntarily.

Next, I'm going to have to work on spotting the weaknesses in my students and trying my best to help my students turn it into strengths.

All types of students, from toddlers to adults. I've worked at community services to help people with their English. Taught Maths and Science to a lot of my peers. I'm pretty versatile is what I'm trying to say.

Find someone that helps you learn in the way you enjoy the most. If you don't enjoy learning you won't ever get good at it. There are 4 types of learning, which are through talking, through reading, through seeing and through doing. Find a teacher that helps you learn the way you want to learn.

The Black Lives Matter protests (not riots) were one of the most admirable events that have taken place in recent history. It showed people all around the world the strength of unison and the true power of the voice of the people.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do I need to do to get better at learning?

Do I really need a teacher or could I be an independent learner?

Am I sure I will be consistent with my learning and studying?

Am I going to avoid complacency and laziness?

Am I going to avoid asking questions or will I let my teacher know exactly what I need?

Have I thought of all my weaknesses and what I need from my teacher?

Not really, I'm happy with whatever the parent would like to offer because I love to teach and it's amazing to know that both the parent and student are comfortable. There should be no compromise in education so hence, I keep my services negotiable.
