About Samantha
I have always had a love for math. I fell in love with it in 8th grade and now I have a degree in Mathematics! I did tutoring in high school and I have even been a tutor on the collegiate level. My favorite thing is to help people understand the beauty of math with a positive and fun learning environment!
I have always been someone who loves to share knowledge. From this, I began tutoring by studying with a group in high school. I realized that I really enjoyed helping people and I continued with it.
I worked as a tutor in high school and I tutored all four years of my college career as well. I have a B.S. in Mathematics from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana.

I like to get to know a student's learning style before we start learning. This is important because then I can tailor my teaching to a way that will benefit the student the most.
I have worked with several high school students from freshmen to seniors. I have also helped college students as well on their basic mathematics courses and calculus.
My biggest piece of advice would be to work with someone that can teach at your level in your learning style. I am a visual learner and I have training in teaching in other learning styles. I know it is very important to learn in the way your brain is set up for.
I graduated in April of 2021 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Theatre Performance. It was an amazing accomplishment that I treasure.
