About Erica
Three years of experience teaching students from K-8.
Helped students achieve high scores on standardized tests (over 70% of my 6th grade class obtained 3s and above on state tests).
Current sophomore at Stuyvesant High School.
Available to teach all school subjects.
I think a lot of teaching at school neglects individualized instruction, which is crucial for students and develop their own skill sets. Learning should be fun and it should inspire a passion for knowledge. As a student, I've experienced teachers that haven't worked for my learning style, making learning incredibly difficult. As a tutor, I actively work to remedy this, teaching the way each student is most receptive to.
I am a high school student and I teach kids from K-9.
I have taught kids from K-8 for three years at my private tutoring center.
