About Chi
A former college mathematics professor, now an e-learning expert leading online learning technologies and serving as an adjunct professor at local universities. I have taught college and graduate-level mathematics and computer science courses for many years, and I am well-regarded and appreciated by my students.
I started teaching as a teaching assistant when I was a graduate student. Then I was a university math professor for many years and was a tenured professor before leaving academics to online learning technology.
I have a PH.D. in mathematics and I am used to be a university math professor. I have taught college math for many years. Helping students to learn math better has always been my focus.
Now I am an e-learning expert working on online learning systems. I own an online math learning system used by colleges and schools that has helped tens of thousands of students doing math better. Besides individual tutoring sessions, my students can use the online system for additional personalized help.

I offer a free 30 minutes "interview" working session for student and me to get to know each other. We can then decide if we are suitable for each other or not.
I do expect a student to be "prepared" for the "interview" session and all sessions we will work together. It means "know what you don't know" or " know what you want to know".
I have taught thousands of college students. Tutored many college and high school students. I also tutored some younger students from grade 4 and up.
The best teachers are always the ones who love what they are teaching and enjoy their students' success.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Just bring in questions and difficulties to the teacher, as specific as you can. For example, it can be a concept, a formula, an example, a problem, or a solution, that you don't understand, don't know how to start with, how to get the correct answer, or don't feel comfortable with. Good teachers can guide the student to resolve these issues and identify the root cause of the student's weakness. And then help students to improve on the weakness.
