About Josh
It sounds strange, but I have a genuine passion for math. I am currently studying at the University of Washington and have a minor in mathmatics working on a degree in Applied Physics. My favorite math is Algerbra and Geometry but am highly experienced in most subject up to high level Calculus. I love imparitng my knowledge on to other and enabling them to acheive their goals. I also work part time in a tech support role for Microsoft and am happy to help out with all sorts of technology related questions.
Honestly it all in the math for me. I love the puzzle solving aspect behind it. So many people struggle learning math and I love emparting those moments where everything begins to click.
I nail the two most important things in a tutor. I know my stuff, and I can explain things to others in a way that makes it easy to learn. From my experience in University and (as dorky as it sounds) Boy Scouts, I have picked up many effective methods for teaching other and making sure the information sticks.

First step is getting to know my new student. Expect the first session to establish the relationship and figure out how we will work together. It sounds like a waste of time but student will pay far more attention if they find their tutor interesting.
