About Wesley

I graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in Economics and Honors Chemistry in the Spring of 2016. I was a member of the Men's Rowing Team and Team President my senior year. I've raced both for Michigan and the United States while at the same time I loved my academics. I trained for four years in Vermont after graduating to race for the US. I am starting medical school at Columbia in August.

I graduated high school with a 4.22 weighted GPA and scoring a 34 on the ACT. I graduated with Honors from college with a 3.6 GPA and scoring in the 96th percentile on the new MCAT. I was a member of the Honors Society in High School and in the Honors College at U of M.

I have an extremely flexible schedule and can easily accommodate last minute lessons as well as limited student schedules.

I have been tutoring off and on starting in high school and throughout college. My goal whenever I tutor someone is to show them how fun and interesting science and math can be, and give them a love for the subjects that challenged and rewarded me.

He is clearly so excited about the subjects he teaches that his students were disarmed. If a student came to him for math help but hated math, for instance, Wes’s enthusiasm sparked a curiosity that would spur the student to work hard enough to discover what was so cool about math, anyway. This is the most effective kind of teacher—one that inspires.
