About Hallie
I'm a math major at Georgia Tech, so I have plenty of experience in all fields of math. I have tutored throughout my life, whether it be teaching fourth grades how to multiply fractions, or helping my friends with college Calculus. I think my service stands out the most because of my interest in all things math, and my enthusiasm to help others in the subject.
I love getting people as enthusiastic as I am about math. Seeing progress and success is what makes me continue to want to teach other people! I think the fact that I am a current college student majoring in math really tells you how much I truly enjoy the subject, and is very telling in how fit I am to be a math tutor.

I start by first figuring out what it is they struggle with:is it the subject in general, certain concepts, or do they just need someone to help them work out problems?
From there, I look more into the specific subject in question, and collect any helpful notes or materials that can aid in their success. Giving students other resources besides what has already been given to them is essential. Everyone learns in different ways!
