About Macy
My name is Macy, and I am 15 years old. I am very good at math and love to help others learn and understand it! I have experience tutoring both of my brothers and some of their friends in geometry, algebra 1 and algebra 2. I am not a professional instructor, but I do know math very well and believe that it is benificial for students my age to have a chance to learn math from someone close to their age. From what I have seen, by doing this they can get a better understanding from someone like me, rather than a professional instructor because they feel more comfortable talking to someone their age. My goal is to help you understand the topics you are struggling with and help you pass math!
Two summers ago is when I really started helping people with math. I only started because my mom forced me to help my older brother. But i realized how much I liked tutoring and since then I always try to help everyone!
I have already passed geometry, algebra 1, and algebra 2 with a high A(over a 95). I have also helped my older brother and his friends pass algebra by doing group lessons over facetime and helping them understand how to solve certain problems.

First we will go over what the student knows, and what they may be confused on. From there I will be able to create a lesson to help them clear any confusion they may have had and fully understand the topic they are learning. Once they are comfortable with their topic, we will move on to the next.
I have worked with everyone from 1st grade to seniors! I am willing to work with anyone. 7 years old or 20, age doesn't bother me!
Go with someone you are comfortable learning from. You need to decide who you're comfortable with to ask questions and meet with. It's your choice who you think will help you the most. Make sure you make a decision that will help you!

Think about what you need help with and what you think will be the best way to help you. It's your tutoring session and I will try to help you in a way that will be beneficial to you. Think about how you learn the best, do you like doing paper? or do you like doing problems together and talking them out together?
