About Karington
I am a certified teacher for EC-6th grade in all subjects, and 4th-8th grade in math. I have been teaching math since 2016, and am currently a middle school Algebra 1 teacher. I have a passion for students and for teaching and I would love to help you grow more confident in your math skills.
I love helping students to find what makes math click for them. I enjoy seeing students that have struggled with something suddenly understand it, and I love helping students to grow in their skills. We will work together to improve your understanding and passion for math and for learning.
I am a certified teacher for all subjects EC-6, and for math through 8th grade/Algebra 1. I have been teaching math since 2016, and am currently an Algebra 1 teacher at a middle school.

When beginning to work with a student, I will assess your skills according to your grade level, and build our lessons off of this assessment, according to the student's needs.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It can help if you know a little about what your learning style is. Some of us like to watch someone work through a problem a few times, some of us want to be coached through the problem, some want to jump right in and work through the mistakes as they come, some want to really see how the problem works through models.
If you don't know how you learn though, it's perfectly fine -- we can work through it together!
