About Russell
I'm personable. I'm not your typical socially awkward math nerd. I grew up loving sports and I still do! My personality brings a level of comfort where students can feel safe to ask questions, which in turn will help them learn math even better.
When I see someone for the first time finally understand the topic after all the hard work they put in. There isn't anything more satisfying than working hard and see the fruits of your labor. Its a special moment and I live for it!
Starting teaching in my Masters program.
1. Masters Degree in Mathematics.
2. Taught 2 1/2 years of Mathematics at a college level.

1. Get them to trust me. The struggle people have is that they aren't comfortable to ask questions. I need to develop the relationship.
2. Get the habit of asking questions. The best way to understand is to ask questions.
3. Set goals and expectations for each other.
Tutored kids from 14 years old to student up to 55 years old.
When I finish teaching a math course and having students thank me for teaching. Also an circumstance when someone works hard and they finally understand what is being taught. It is a special moment for me to experience.
