I love seeing kids gaining confidence in their abilities, especially in classes are are intuitive. Once they understand what the question is asking, a lightbulb goes off in their heads and answering STEM questions are no different than everyday reading
I started helping kids with math when I used to babysit my younger cousins, usually helping them with simple word problems. As I got into high school I joined tutoring clubs where I learnt from the upperclassmen and taught upper leve Chemistry topics to sophomores. I took part in homework center where I helped my peers with our everyday assignments and got them up to speed when they missed class.
