About Anna
Hi there! My name is Anna and I am an experienced tutor. I am a graduate of Stanford University and have been tutoring in New York City for the past 6 years both privately and through wonderful educational agencies. I have been tutoring on and off, before then, for a total of 10 years. I specialize in elementary, middle, and high school math and english. I work with a variety of levels and learning styles and am certified in the Orton-Gillingham approach to multi sensory learning. I work with learning differences as well as doing SAT prep. An additional honor that I have recently received, is a nomination as one of the "best of this website 2020", a selection of less than 6% of the qualified tutors subscribing to this website.
I am passionate about my job, and have experienced first hand the profound impact that a tutor can have, both as a student, and as a learning specialist. I have had my life turned around by an incredible tutor in high school, and have been a heart-felt believer in the possibility of great change and growth through this form of learning. I would love to meet you and work together! Please email me at: (concealed information)

Anna was very patient and found creative ways to explain the information to my daughter. We hired Anna to work on math but she was able to help with all my daughter’s homework. A great tutor.
