About Deborah
I am a graduate of Columbia University, and I have experience working with students of all ages; I specialize in standardized testing (SAT/ACT), math, and chemistry.
I believe in a growth mindset, a mindset that allows students to continually develop their talents. I know that I can help my students achieve their fullest potential.

I earned my degree in Neuroscience and Behavior at Columbia University. My high school's and Columbia's emphases on a holistic education have allowed me to cultivate not only my knowledge of STEM, but also my skills in the liberal arts. For example, Columbia requires all undergraduates to take a University Writing course as well as literature courses covering texts from Aristotle to Shakespeare to Toni Morrison.
I am also proficient in Mandarin and Spanish.
