About Kristine
I enjoy being able to help people of any age range in STEM and the arts since those are my strong suits.
I started tutoring students 2 years ago and have just grown to love it.
I am a college student and have taken all honors courses. In math, I can teach up to Calculus 1. For science, I specialize in the organic sciences, ie bio and chem. I can also tutor for voice and for acting! I have had 10 years of voice and acting experience so I am happy to help in those areas. I can also provide some assitance with painting!

When working with a new student I like to find out their strengths and what they need help with, either from them or their parents depending on the age of the student, and we go from there. A lot of my work is based on student feedback, since it needs to be in order for it to be successful, and I am able to adapt as needed.
For STEM I've tutored students up to sophomore in high school and for the arts I can tutor any age since I've worked with a wide variety.
Since math and performance can be frustrating, hire someone who you get along with. Of course qualifications have an importance but it doesn't matter how qualified people are if they simply make you hate the subject so, I'd suggest doing trial lessons and see how the chemistry is between the teacher and the student.
I face paint for a children's haunted house and it's always an incredible time to talk to the kids, push myself artistically, and try something new.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Is what I need help with motivation related, or lack of, or do I truly not understand the content? What is it that I don't understand or need support on? Am I giving myself the best advantage in my learning possible?
