About Joey
First session is FREE!
I like to offer my first session for free as a sort of test drive to make sure we are a good fit and that my teaching style works well with with you and then my rate is $30/hr.
In college I was on a list that the math department sent to the local high schools of people that they believed would be good tutors and would get calls from parents/students for tutoring.
I have a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and have previous tutoring experience while I was attending college.

I would like to get some information from the student beforehand such as what they are currently working on and what they are struggling on so I can have something prepared for when we first meet. We will go over some sample problems I come up with and focus on the problems he/she struggles most on.
High school and college in math classes ranging from algebra to calculus.
