About Marshal
In addition to tailoring curricula to students' unique needs, I change lessons "on the fly" in order to focus on areas they may be struggling with.
Depending on students’ needs and learning styles, I will draw on videos to help explain concepts that might elude them. I might also summon Alexa to play a song for a piano student or to provide additional perspectives or information for topics that Math and Language students are tackling.
Furthermore, I’m not satisfied when the students arrive at the right answers, I help them cultivate life skills, including persistence, a thirst for independent learning, critical thinking, and self-confidence, and a strong work ethic.

I recently took a piano class from Marshal via Zoom. He e-mailed the course .pdf materials promptly after booking so that I could visually go over the lesson ahead of time. He had an easy going manner about himself and was okay with me interrupting on several occasions to ask a question or tell him I already knew the material being taught. Definitely recommended for children and adults!
Marshal helped me and my band run through a pre performance rehearsal, gave us 1 on 1 tips to helps us solo, and worked with us to perfect the different jazz tunes. Definitely recommend either in a group or for a private lesson.
