When I first meet with s new student, I think it is important to talk for 10 minutes to get to know each other’s general background.
1. Set expectations and guidelines for tutoring sessions (time, days)
2. Discuss ways each student learns best (visual, talking, reading, writing, etc.)
3. Update of recent work (classwork, homework, quizzes and tests)
4. Review areas of concern, weakness, questions and successes.

Perfect! Ms. Trumble is wonderful. She is caring and patient. She spent alot of time with my son over the years. His algebra grade was not good when I was referred to her. My son is in his Junior year and is killing it with a 96%. I can't say enough good things about Ms. Trumble. You won't be disappointed.
Perfect! She has patience and is very well versed on the subject. The student seems to understand the way she teaches.
