About Anya
I'm a very patient, hard-working, and organized tutor. I come with some prepared assignments based on the needs described, but I am also open to changing my lesson plan based on how the student does with the prepared assingments.
I really enjoy working with kids and helping them learn. I've babysat since I was twelve years old, and a lot of my babysitting has also involved helping students with class assignments and extracurricular activites.
I'm a rising sophomore at Rice University majoring in Mathematics and double minoring in Data Science and Business.

I tend to start with some prepared assingments, and change my lesson plan based on how the student responds to the initial assingments. I always give some time at the beginning of the first lesson just to introduce myself and help the students feel comfortable. This encourages them to ask me questions and to tell me if they want to try learning something a different way.
