About Monica
I am a current Stanford University student studying Mathematics and Economics. I have a passion for sharing math and teaching my students methods that are easy to approach.
I have been tutoring mathematics for over six years to students ages 5-19. I have tutored students towards the top of their math classes and have prepared students who scored perfect 800 on SAT Math, 5 on AP Calc AB/BC, and received A+'s in their classes. I am flexible and seek to provide the best learning method for your child, whether it is visual, verbal, or hands-on. I believe it is important to encourage and cultivate a passion for learning, and this love of learning is something I seek to instill in all my students.
I can tutor in SAT Math, ACT Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, and Calculus BC. I would be happy to help you get caught up on any material missed or not fully understood, and ultimately help you get ahead. I will check your work to help fill content knowledge gaps and will allow for you to strengthen your skills by going through practice problems.
