About Danielle
My flexible learning skills will aid in adapting to each student's needs. This flexibility promotes patience within my skills and lessons, and I will definitely dedicate myself to maximizing the task at hand. I have experience as a teacher, specifically being a student-teacher of Latin to special needs elementary school students. Experiences like these, paired with my vast community involvement and experience, I will be able to provide lessons and help students that fit them best.
I love many things about helping others with their academics. To see the energy and dedication the student put into their work pay off is very rewarding for both of us involved. I love trying out alternate methods and being creative with my lessons, and really show how school can be enjoyable. I love making the task at hand feel like something rewarding and beneficial, not just a mandatory task one has to for school or another purpose.
I was a student-teacher to a group of special needs children for a year, my original purpose was teaching Latin but I taught many different subjects! I tried to make my lessons fit what the students needed help with most! I have also volunteered with children and was a camp counselor for many different age groups. I have also graduated high school in the Scholars Academy with a 4.0 GPA. I received high grades on my AP tests. I volunteered as a tutor at an SHSAT/SAT center. I am also a biology major in college taking very diverse classes, so I can fit each student's need!

I would love to get to know the student, examine their needs and discuss their learning techniques. I would have my lesson plan and teaching technique complement with what will benefit the student most! I would try different methods to see which would be the best to maximize my lessons and the student's knowledge and ability!
