About Allexsa
I did not get a degree in education, given my major, my friends would always come to me with their math questions and I would end up tutoring them on concepts that they were not understanding. I found joy in being able to make them have an "Aha" moment so then I started tutoring lower level math courses part time while in college.
I graduated from ASU with a BS in Mathematics in 2019.

I like to get sent the concepts that they are currently learning along with their last exam and homework's to see what they haven't been understanding, before our first meeting. I like to first build on previous concepts before moving forward because in my opinion, math is a building language so if your starting frame is weak , then anything beyond that will not hold well.
I have worked with college students.
Don't be afraid to tell the teacher it's not working out. If you aren't understanding the way they are teaching you it's ok to let them know and find a different teacher!

Details
The first lesson is free because I want to make sure that the student and I are a good fit and that my way of teaching and explaining works for them!
If I think I can be of help, and the student is comfortable and wants to continue then we go from there, whether they just need one lesson to review a quick topic or multiple if they are really struggling.
