About Rachel
Although I work full time as a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery, my degree is in applied mathematics. My love for problem solving has never been stronger. I enjoy teaching the reason behind solving the problems so that you are able to approach any question confidently, regardless of variations.
Mathematics is both clear-cut and elusive. That's what makes it fascinating. I enjoy showing the "bigger picture" behind a math problem so that you can appreciate why these theories/problems/variables exist in our world.
My undergraduate degree is in mathematical biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. I have my masters in medical science from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
