About Tgyus
We offer High Quality Individual Tutoring tailored to students to help them succeed despite remote learning.
I have been tutoring K-12+ since my junior year of Undergrad. Mainly specializing in STEM topics.
Ive always been a helper whenever possible. It just convenient that a lot of students need help in subject that I personally enjoy.
It was a part time job for undergrad.
I personally studied for the ASVAB.
My stem knowledge comes mainly from my Degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside.
I have also taken the ASVAB and received a 95 at MEPS.

When determining their ability i will give them 3 problems ranging in difficulty. I will then ask them to explain their process verbally to me as they work through the problem set. Once they reach a road block a note is made and I intervene untill they are unable to continue. This way I developed a baseline of their ability.
I have worked with many college bound students as well as individual interested in military service, CalFire, and EMT school.
Try and see how many different explanations they can give. The more examples the more opportunity for you to make connections leading to comprehension of the topic.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Try and determine what you are weak at. As difficult as it sounds self reflection on your studies will be beneficial in the long run. While the topic of what you studdgle with might be uncomfortable try at least determine if you yourself can pinpoint the weakness.
