About Saranya
I'm Saranya Vasudevan. I am extremely passionate about tutoring high school students in Algebra 1, Algebra2, Geometry, Calculus ad Elementary Math. When I was pursuing my Chemical Engineering degree, I had several math courses I took as part of my curriculum. I was fortunate enough to have several experienced and expert professors who taught these math courses to almost 75 of us students. These professors always used a very fun, lively, and interactive approach to teach us concepts. They would dedicatedly explain the problems and solutions in a way that even a student who has a very basic understanding could grasp. They would also offer us after office hours to ask them about any questions we have on that topic. I try to bring this knowledge to my tutoring approach and make learning effective and pleasant to my students.
At my coding bootcamp I recently attended, I helped several of my fellow students with coding and math concepts. In a group of 6-8 students, we would analyze our problems and come up with our own innovative solutions. At my college, I had conducted seminars in math (algebra, probability, calculus) to teach new concepts to students. Also, have a year of similar experience helping several fellow students with after-hours homework.
I want to be an effective tutor to my students in helping them either learn new concepts or complete homework.
